Lil Sis

Cole and I took a road trip on Friday to New Bern to see my grandma.  We hung out with my aunt and two cousins Friday night.  Cole loved playing "flower shop" with my cousin Bekgah.  He would pick out fake flower petals from a basket and then pick them back up and place them back into the basket.  He loved every minute of it!  On Saturday, we went over to my aunt's house to celebrate my cousin's birthday.  Cole had fun playing with all the toys that my aunt brought out for him (i.e. laundry basket, wooden spoon, and measuring cups).  The best toy, however, was the one that my other cousin Mary brought out for him, the Hello Kitty tent.  He loved playing with it and enjoyed crawling in and out of it.  Although it was girly, I realized that one day he and I will get to enjoy and share in times of building a fort together.

I love all of my cousins very much and they all hold a special place in my heart.  Among them is Bekgah.  She just turned 23 years old.  She is a very sweet and kind-hearted person.  She and I have many, many childhood memories together.  I'm very thankful that we are a very close-k

nit family and have had the opportunity to experience many things together.  She is like a little sister to me that I never had.  I could go on and on about her but here's the top ten reasons why I love her:

10.  She can do an awesome lateral lisp impression.

9.    She will make a great baliff one day.

8.   She is the most sanitary person I know.

7.   She is very smart (especially in 2008 history).

6.  She is beautiful.

5.  She is sometimes referred to as "Mrs. Butterhump."

4.  She is strong in her faith.

3.  She is a faithful friend and good listener.

2.  She always put others and their needs ahead of her own.

1.  She is a constant reminder of my Pop-Pop through her smile

 and facial expressions.  I am forever thankful for that.
