On a mission

The title of this post is the only way I know how to describe what Cole has been up to lately. He is so curious and wants to figure out everything in our whole entire house!  He is crawling everywhere, pulling up and standing, and now has just begun to cruise!! (Meaning, he holds onto to something while standing and then begins to walk as he holds onto furniture!)  Earlier this past week he ate ALL table food for a meal, no baby food! We are slowly weaning away from baby food.  I kinda have mixed emotions about it because now that means that I really, really have to cook!  It also means that my baby is yet another step closer to growing into a little boy!  It has been fun though to watch his silly facial expressions as he tries new foods.  Here's a list of what table food he has tried thus far:  green beans, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese (my personal favorite), spaghetti, chicken, beef, carrots, peas (another personal fav - has to be from the can though:), fruit cocktail, chicken and stars soup, oatmeal, toast, bananas, and yogurt.  He seems to like just about anything so far.  Another big milestone is just this past week he began to use the "more" sign in sign language to tell us that he wanted more to eat. It's amazing to see him learn something like that right before our eyes.  He also waves bye-bye.  It is so cute.  As he is approaching eleven months old in about a week and a half, we look forward to seeing new things that he will venture to do.  I'm already planning his first birthday party!!  I can't believe it!  Please continue to join us in prayer for him and for his ability to understand the love that so many have for him, but more importantly the love that God our Father has for him.  Here are some recent pictures:
