Cole's First Christmas

We had an awesome first Christmas with Cole.  The Lord really blessed us as we were able to spend time with a lot of family over the holidays.  We first had Christmas with Charlie's side of the family.  Cole got a lot of really cool presents including some really fun toys!

On Christmas morning, we opened presents as a family, the three of us.  Cole got a few surprises in his stocking, even surprises to me!  Soon after breakfast, we got in the car and drove to New Bern to see my family.  We opened presents as soon as we got there.  Cole got the cutest Pirate smocked outfit among other special gifts.  He also received a huge, almost life-size replica of a stuffed bear.  He hugged all over that bear the whole rest of the day.  After eating a late lunch, Charlie headed back home because he was on call for work.  I stayed in New Bern until the following evening.  We had a wonderful time together.  As we celebrated Christ's birth, we were reminded of the miracle that he blessed us with last February.
