A Baby Changes Everything

I received the new Faith Hill Christmas cd and have really enjoyed listening to all of her Christmas songs.  The last song has definitely been my favorite.  The song is entitled "A Baby Changes Everything."  The song is about Mary and the birth of Jesus.  The words are amazing.  A choir sings the song with her.  At the end of the song, Faith belts out "Hallelujah" and it sends chills down my spine.  It is a good reminder of how miraculous Jesus' birth was.

Now that I have a baby of my own, I have a deeper connection with the song than I think I would a year or more ago.  Cole has certainly changed my life.  I love him so much.  My priorities have changed and the things that I thought were important are no longer important now that I have a child to take care of all the time.  

I am so excited about celebrating the birth of Jesus this time of year with Cole.  

Here's a quick update of what he's been up to.  He is crawling ALL over the place.  He is pulling up on anything that he can get his hands on.  He stands up in the crib when he wakes up from a nap and in the morning with a big smile on his face.  He can also go from a crawling position to a sitting position.  He just started doing that today.  He loves looking at a book and having it read to him.  He also loves taking pictures.  I took some pictures of him this morning while he was eating his breakfast.  He just kept smiling and actually posing for the pictures.  He makes funny faces now.  He'll raise his head up and smile so big.  He is so much fun.
