A Thankful Thanksgiving

We made the trip to Charlie's grandmother's house the Tuesday night before Thanksgiving. Cole did pretty well in the car and started to fall asleep around his usual bedtime in the car. We arrived safely and put Cole right to bed as soon as we got to the house.  On Wednesday, we hung out around the house and enjoyed watching Cole and his second cousin, Parker, play together.  I tried to conduct a little photo shoot that didn't turn out quite well.

On Thanksgiving Day, we rode over to Charlie's grandmother's church for lunch.  They always get together with a lot of family members.  The food was excellent once again and Cole even enjoyed a little taste of Mama Netti's famous banana pudding.  After eating, we went outside to the playground so that Cole could slide with daddy and swing with me.

Friday morning, we got up and hung out for a bit.  We packed our things and left around 9:30. Charlie's grandmother gave Cole an early Christmas present.  His very first Christmas teddy bear.  It was so cute.  He loves it and has it in his room.

Charlie and I are very thankful for all of our family
and friends.  We are especially thankful for the gift
of a healthy and beautiful baby boy.  We love Cole and are very thankful to be his parents.
