Movin' and Shakin' and a little bit of dada

The moment we've been waiting for....Cole crawling.  This week he has continued to get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth.  The new thing that he started doing this week was he started to stretch his legs back like he was going to do a push up.  After doing that, he would then bring one leg forward.  Tonight, he brought one leg forward and then another leg.  A few times he moved three times with his legs.  Charlie and I were so excited and so thankful to watch our son begin to move on his own.  

It's amazing how God creates his children.  We have been able to watch Cole learn how to do something step by step.  Something that seems to come so naturally to us but a process for a baby. 

I wish that I had pictures to post to capture the moment but Charlie videotaped it.  I'm not sure how to get that on a blog.  Anyway, the next time that you see him he'll be movin' and shakin'!

The second thing that he started doing this week was beginning to say "dada."  He says it to his toys, to me, to Charlie, to just about anything.  It's fun to think that a simple dada will later turn into daddy.
