Visit with the Berry's

Last weekend, we got together with the Berry family to watch the ECU vs. Tulane game.  Thank goodness the Pirates won!

We had a good time being all together.  Little Cole had his second cold of his first year of life. The whole time he was coughing and sneezing.  The same was true of baby Conner, except this was his first cold.  We (Ashleigh and I) figured it would be okay for our little guys to be together because they both weren't feeling too well.  It was a sight, we were both trying to rock our babies to sleep while using our handy bulb syringes (courtesy of the hospital) to clean out their noses!
We love them so much!  After the Pirate win, we took some pictures of the boys together.  Earlier they had on matching Pirate outfits but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to change them both.  Maybe next time we can take some pictures of them in their Pirate attire.

We had fun taking pictures of them and trying to get both of them to look and smile at the same time.  The daddy's were making funny noises while Ashleigh and I called their names. They were so confused as to who to look at.  One of my favorite pictures of Cole and Conner was one where they are holding hands.   It reminds me of my awesome friendship with
Ashleigh.

Ashleigh and I have been friends since we were in the fourth grade.   That means that we have been friends for about seventeen years!  My hope is that our friendship will continue to last and that we will pass it down to our boys.  How awesome would that be if they were to grow up together being buddies and then continuing their friendship into adulthood.  Ashleigh is the sister that I never had.  We have shared many life experiences together...getting married and now both being mothers.  I love her to death and I thank God everyday for a great friend.  I can't wait to see what the coming years bring as our families grow.  I love you Ashleigh!  Thank you for being my best friend.
