After we visited everyone at the Taylor Cottage, we drove down to Pine Knoll Shores and spent some time with my family. Charlie stayed until Tuesday and I stayed the entire week with Cole. We had a great time.
My family has been going to the beach together every summer for 16 years. Our family is very close and always get together for all kinds of celebrations. Even though
some people were not able to be at the beach this year or stay for the entire week, it was still awesome to see everyone. We went out to dinner a lot more this year and that was fun. We went to Clawson's, Rapps, and Rucker John's. We also had our traditional evening of putt-putt golf at Professor Hacker's and then ice cream at Dairy Queen. At the Dairy Queen, our cousin Mary, who lost in putt-putt, was sentenced to making a speech in front of everyone there. She told everyone that she lost in the game and that she was licking her wounds because of it. Mary did an awesome job! It was hilarious! I would have a picture to show, but I was laughing way too hard during her speech. Anyway, we had fun at
the beach. Cole got into the pool a few times in his cute little floaty. He looked so adorable in his pirate bathing suit.
We ended the week on Saturday morning at our traditional breakfast place, 4 Corner's Diner. It was yummy! Thanks Grandma for another awesome and blessed week at the beach together as family. We love you!!!
